1. Shipping Coverage

MCTech Computers provides shipping services throughout Sri Lanka. We offer multiple delivery options to meet your needs and budget.

Zone 1: Colombo Metro Area

Colombo 1-15, Mount Lavinia, Dehiwala, Moratuwa, Kelaniya, Maharagama, Kotte, Nugegoda

  • Standard Delivery: 1-2 business days
  • Express Delivery: Same day or next day
  • Free delivery for orders over LKR 50,000

Zone 2: Western Province

Gampaha, Kalutara, Negombo, Panadura, Horana, Minuwangoda

  • Standard Delivery: 2-3 business days
  • Express Delivery: 1-2 business days
  • Free delivery for orders over LKR 75,000

Zone 3: Major Cities

Kandy, Galle, Matara, Anuradhapura, Polonnaruwa, Kurunegala, Ratnapura

  • Standard Delivery: 3-5 business days
  • Express Delivery: 2-3 business days
  • Free delivery for orders over LKR 100,000

Zone 4: Other Areas

All other areas in Sri Lanka

  • Standard Delivery: 4-7 business days
  • Express Delivery: 3-5 business days
  • Free delivery for orders over LKR 150,000

3. Special Item Shipping

Large Items (Monitors, Printers, UPS)

  • Additional handling fee: LKR 500-2,000 depending on size
  • Delivery time may be extended by 1-2 business days
  • Special packaging included

Fragile Items (Hard Drives, Components)

  • Extra protective packaging included at no charge
  • Insurance coverage up to product value
  • Signature required upon delivery

High-Value Items (Over LKR 200,000)

  • Mandatory signature and ID verification
  • GPS tracking and SMS updates
  • Insurance included
  • Preferred delivery time slots available

4. Order Processing Time

  • In-Stock Items: Same day processing for orders placed before 2:00 PM on business days
  • Build-to-Order Systems: 2-5 business days depending on complexity
  • Special Orders: 7-14 business days (customer will be notified)
  • Weekends and Holidays: Orders placed on weekends/holidays processed next business day

5. Delivery Options

Standard Delivery

  • Delivery during business hours (9:00 AM - 6:00 PM)
  • Up to 3 delivery attempts
  • SMS notification before delivery
  • Package can be left with responsible adult at address

Express Delivery

  • Priority processing and shipping
  • Real-time tracking updates
  • Delivery time window: 2-hour slots
  • Phone call before delivery

Pickup Service

  • Free pickup available from our store
  • Items ready for pickup within 24 hours
  • Extended storage up to 30 days
  • Valid ID required for pickup

6. Delivery Process

  1. Order Confirmation: Email/SMS confirmation sent upon order placement
  2. Processing: Order prepared and packaged at our facility
  3. Dispatch: Package handed over to courier with tracking number
  4. In Transit: Real-time tracking available via website or SMS
  5. Out for Delivery: SMS sent with estimated delivery time
  6. Delivered: Confirmation SMS sent upon successful delivery

7. Tracking Your Order

  • Tracking number provided via email and SMS
  • Real-time tracking on our website
  • WhatsApp updates available (opt-in)
  • Customer service support for tracking inquiries

8. Delivery Requirements

  • Address Accuracy: Complete and accurate delivery address required
  • Contact Information: Valid phone number for delivery coordination
  • Identification: Valid ID required for high-value deliveries
  • Age Verification: Adult (18+) must be present to receive delivery

9. Failed Delivery Policy

If delivery fails due to:

  • Incorrect Address: Customer charged for re-delivery
  • No One Available: Package returned to depot, 2 more attempts made
  • Customer Request: Re-delivery fee may apply
  • After 3 Failed Attempts: Package returned to MCTech, customer notified

10. International Shipping

Currently, we only ship within Sri Lanka. International shipping is not available at this time. We are working to expand our shipping coverage in the future.

11. Shipping Restrictions

We cannot ship to:

  • PO Boxes (physical address required)
  • Military bases or restricted areas
  • Areas with ongoing security concerns
  • Locations inaccessible by standard courier services

12. Packaging

  • All items packaged with appropriate protective materials
  • Eco-friendly packaging materials used when possible
  • Original manufacturer packaging preserved for warranty purposes
  • MCTech branded packaging for brand recognition

13. Shipping Insurance

  • All shipments insured up to product value
  • Additional insurance available for high-value items
  • Claims processed within 7 business days
  • Photo evidence required for damage claims

14. Holiday and Special Circumstances

  • Shipping may be delayed during national holidays
  • Weather-related delays beyond our control
  • Special arrangements for urgent deliveries
  • Customer notification for any significant delays
